GEO Hosts Campus France Manila Information Session for UC Students and Staff

On January 20, 2025, the Global Engagements Office (GEO) hosted an information session in collaboration with Campus France Manila, featuring Mr. Paulo Udani, Manager of Campus France Manila, as the guest speaker. The event gathered students and staff from the University of the Cordilleras (UC) who are aspiring to pursue graduate studies and advanced academic opportunities in France.

Campus France Manila is the official organization that assists Filipino students seeking admission to French higher education institutions by providing guidance on academic pathways, institutional selection, and scholarship opportunities. During the session, Mr. Udani introduced two major scholarship programs—France Excellence Philippines and France Excellence Philippines–DOST (FEP-DOST). He discussed essential information such as application procedures, eligibility criteria, deadlines, and the benefits offered by each scholarship.

The session provided UC attendees with valuable insights into studying in France and equipped them with practical knowledge on preparing competitive scholarship applications. This engagement further strengthened UC’s linkages with international academic institutions and supported the University’s commitment to promoting global mobility, international education access, and cross-cultural engagement.

This initiative advances key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4: Quality Education, by broadening access to international scholarship opportunities; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by enabling students from diverse backgrounds to pursue higher education abroad; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering cooperation between UC and French higher education institutions through Campus France Manila.
