Dr. Reueben Victor Laguitan of the College of Nursing successfully completed the 2025 TMU Advanced Healthcare Professional Training Program at Taipei Medical University (TMU), held from July 7 to 18, 2025. The specialized training brought together international participants to explore advancements in digital healthcare, health technologies, global health systems, and the digital transformation of medical practice.
Dr. Laguitan shared that the experience provided valuable insights that will not only enhance teaching and research within the College of Nursing but also contribute to the ongoing development of UC’s new Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program, officially launched in August 2025. His participation underscores UC’s commitment to integrating innovation and international expertise into healthcare education.
This initiative supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by advancing healthcare knowledge and innovation; SDG 4: Quality Education through continuous professional development and curriculum enhancement; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering academic collaboration between UC and Taipei Medical University.
