ACOS Career Talk Inspires CONAHS Students on Global Opportunities

On January 27, 2026, the University of the Cordilleras, through the Global Engagements Office (GEO), hosted a Career Talk and Information Session with the Australian College of Studies (ACOS) at the Peer Learning Room 4–Media Center. The activity aimed to provide graduating students from the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CONAHS) with insights into international education and career pathways aligned with their fields of study.

The session was conducted in two batches to accommodate all participants, totaling 83 graduating students. Representatives from ACOS, including Ms. Roula Christodoulides (General Manager), Ms. Roselyn Mendoza (Offshore Representative), and Mr. Reginald Mangilit (Business Analyst), introduced students to ACOS’ history, mission, and programs, focusing on the four pillars of Childcare, Management, Healthcare, and Hospitality. They also discussed career prospects, application processes, admission requirements, and tuition guidance, equipping students with practical information for pursuing studies or work abroad.

To encourage engagement, the session featured interactive mini-games with prizes distributed to participants, creating a lively and participatory learning environment. Students actively asked questions and clarified their concerns, gaining a clearer understanding of international opportunities and pathways for professional growth.

This initiative strengthens the partnership between UC and ACOS under their Memorandum of Agreement, promoting global academic mobility and professional readiness. It also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, supporting SDG 4: Quality Education through access to international learning pathways, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering institutional collaboration for student success.

The ACOS Career Talk successfully provided CONAHS graduates with essential guidance on navigating international programs, preparing them for the transition from academic life to global opportunities in healthcare and allied professions.
